Bob Griggs

Bob Griggs was the Head Softball Coach at Lexington Catholic High School from 1993 to 2011. He still teaches Math and serves as Assistant Athletic Director at Lexington Catholic. He also coached football for LC from 1992 to 2001 and 2011-2013. In the 2014 season he served as Director of Football Operations.  In 2012-2013 he helped coach the JV baseball team as well.

Bob still serves as KSCA webmaster, and he was also appointed at Executive Director of the KSCA in 2015.

During the summer of 1998 while taking a class (on web pages) for his masters degree at Georgetown College, he saw some excellent web pages for different sports and associations. For his class project he decided to create web pages for the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.

Coach Griggs then proposed the idea to the coaches at the annual softball coaches association meeting in January, 1999. The proposal was passed, and then the construction of the web pages began. Griggs has begun using his basic web page knowledge to start piecing the web page together. He began using the internet, Dr. David Forman (a professor in the Education Department at Georgetown College), and Josh Blandford (the webmaster at Lexington Catholic) as resources for getting his web page started.
